Hi folks,

I just read this news on one of the blogs that Digg is going to remove the controversial 'shout' features. I think it would be a great step by Digg to prevent spammers from flooding the message system as many of them are hitting the front page by shouting friends in their network.

What do you think about it?

I'm okay with that, I don't often use that feature. I only bookmark pages in Digg. But I guess it's about time that Digg makes its move against spammers.

yeah spammer did use that feature to get the stories to the front page. Well some days ago. digg also started to make comments no follow but then then again removed that no follow attribute after some days. I think it should be the temporary change as before.

I've noticed that Digg has made all the links placed on it redirect! That's not very good for seo purposes...

If digg close it due to spammers, I would totally agree with it.
