Blog Vs. Main Site Pr

I just happen to notice today on the google toolbar that my blog site has a PR of 3 and my main site is still at a PR of 0.

Kind of ironic. I spend a handful of time on the blog and way too much time on the main site and the blog seems to be doing better. hmm.gif

Oh yes, I realize the google toolbar PR means little, but I am just using it as a simple comparison tool.

Just an observation on my part.

Blogs seem to have a totally different set of rules to normal websites.

I set up a blog and within hours of me telling the world it was crawled by google, within 2 days it was ranked as number 1 for many searches for popular search terms, it is a fansite and is ranked above some of the main fan sites that I have links to.

I have about 2 inward links and about 20 outward links.

According to google I only have about 4 pages listed but many pages are accessed direct from google.

I am not currently page ranked but it only went live on the 10 November.

It does however have a lot of constantly updated site relevant content.
