How will you know you are sandboxed?

How will you know you are sandboxed?

Hi all,
How can we find out whether one site is sandboxed? Will they be indexed?

Your site can still be indexed even when in the sandbox. The best way to find out is if you type in your most competive keyword and if you are not in the top 1,000 results then you are most likely sandboxed.

Sandbox happens to new sites for a period of 4-8 months. If you have a new site and have PR zero and no rankings, then you are in sandbox.

I have a page rank 2 site, and have been indexed in Google for over 9 months...but my pages do not show up in the listings for my important keywords...I think it is in the sandbox...and I hope to get out soon, because Google traffic would really help out...

Or maybe your competitor sites have done more optimisation for the keywords you feel are important, and they outrank you, pushing you down the listings
