Since 1998, Search engines has been developing unique, short-term different images to place on their home-page designed to enjoy vacations, activities, success and people. The first Search engines Doodle was in respect of the Losing Man Event of 1998.[263][264] The doodle was developed by Lewis Web page and Sergey Brin to inform customers of their lack in case the web servers damaged. Following Search engines Doodles were developed by an outside specialist, until Lewis and Sergey requested then-intern Dennis Hwang to design a logo for Bastille Day in 2000.
