I am going to explain, how to remove the unwanted pages or 404 pages removed from google.
Step 1 : Login to Google Webmaster Tool
Step 2 : Click your Website
Step 3 : Go to "Google Index" present in Webmaster tool.
Step 4 : Click "Remove URL" and you will enter into the page.
Step 5 : Enter the Unwanted URL in "Temporarily Hide" which is present in that page.
Step 6 : Your Unwanted URL will be removed within 24 hours.
Step 7 : After removed check your indexed pages like site:http://www.crazyhippos.in/ and you will identified that particular page will be present or removed from google.

Easiest way is to use the Google Search Console to include the articles that should not be indexed on next crawl. However, keep in mind that blocking URLS from Search Console do not guarantee that already indexed URLs will be removed from the SERPs.
