Google is rolling out a new update to its standard Gmail platform, but some users don't seem to be pleased with the new layout.
Today, Google announced a bunch of new features coming to your Gmail. Most of them are neat, but minor. However, there are a few you should know about so you can check them out yourself.

1. How to turn it on
Gmail's new features won't turn on all by themselves, at least not yet. You have to opt in. Just go to the settings menu (the little grey cog button at the top right of your screen) and click "Try the new Gmail." You'll have the option to go back to classic mode, so no worries going out on a limb.

2. You can snooze emails now
Much like Google's "Inbox," the new Gmail will let you snooze messages, which makes them disappear for the time being, but then be 'redelivered' to your inbox later when you can actually deal with them. When you highlight an email in your inbox, you'll get four little icons that show up to the right of the subject line. The rightmost one is snooze. Click it and you'll get options about how long you'd like to snooze your message.
