I agree with all of those above that say not to submit to search engines.

You should gain backlinks from highly ranked sites and pages then the search engines will follow those links to your site and index it.

Very important also is that they are text links using your targeted keywords.

In link building you should always incorporate your keyword as your anchor text on the targeted landing page..This anchor texts should lead to proper page of the site so that robots once crawl the page will going to consider it as a quality content and be put on the proper index of SE's which will give you high chance to be rank on Searh Results.
