What use is Google page rank?

Hi all,

Both PR and search position are important.

But when you are talking about driving traffic to your website and your online business success, then the most important thing is that your website must be on top position for your key words search on major search engines. Even if you have PR0, you will be successful.

Page rank is simply a calculator that tells "How your website is ranked by other websites". If you have got good quality votes (back links), your PR will be increased.

But increase in PR does not mean that you will be at top google positions for your keywords search.

I personally think PR is useless but since our client specifically wants an increase in PR, well, it is an indication that we are effective in SEO if the PR increases.

PR = How other sites rate your site

SERP = How search engines rate your site
