if your site was establisehed, several years old, quality links etc check you havent broken one of googles webmaster guidelines!

There are a million different variables. I would focus on continuing plan of link building. I would research what links my competitors are getting and try to get those links as well. And I would work really hard at getting high page ranking sites that are also relevant.

Check to see your backlink, to see if they are still doing their part, besides, I think u gonna use Yahoo explorer tool.

if your site isnt the most established in the world then this happens all the time becasue Google keeps messing with things to try and give the best user experience (so they claim) if your site was establisehed, several years old

That is normal. And there are also some websites experienced that. My suggestion is continue on your link building process and be more patient and consistent to see better results...

due to page rank PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. There are two things which affect aearch ranking.

1. Branding

2. Regular backlinks to the webpage.
