Hi Paul, hope you are doing well too.
Yes, I saw difference at your front page in terms of relevancy of your content to the "title", "description" and "keywords", but once again I didn't noticed enough text in your content that can really attract Google.
For example: here are the most popular words within your "title", "description" and "keywords" meta tags that recognized by search engines,
they are:
"transylvania" - 1 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content.
"land" - 1 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords,
0 word in a body of your content
"tours" - 1 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords,
0 word in a body of your content
"rover" - 1 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords,
0 word in a body of your content
Then go less popular words because you didn't mentioned them in your "title", no matter you have them in your content:
"europe" -
0 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content
"eastern" -
0 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content
"heart" -
0 word in title, 1 word in descr, iption, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content
"explore" -
0 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content
"destinations" -
0 word in title, 1 word in description, 1 word in keywords, 1 word in a body of your content
First, search engines look at the 'title", then "description" and then "keywords", and of caurse CONTENT (some major SEs ignoring "keywords" meta tags because of their obuse by webmasters)
Based on the data above, I think you have to make your decision which of the words are the most important for you, and how popular are those words among the internet targeted visitors. Then you have to use them in your "title", "description" and "keywords" meta tags, and of caurse you have to put them in your content as TEXT, but not text within the image.
Another words you have to do some optimization of your, at least, home page.
I have added lots more content to my web site
You probably expect your visitors to find your home page, so you have to add some content to your home page first, because search engines ranking every page separatelly.
Search engines rank your web site (www.your_domain_name.com) based on your home page, they also calculate the number of back-links to your site from the others, looking at your home page which is the index page in your domain. So, your have to pay more attention to your home page.
Talking about back-links to your site, they are extrimily important for your site ranking, and at the same time improving your site search results. Those links are showing to the search engines how popular your website is.
I have put on a robot.txt and mapping of the site
First of all, why did you decide to use robot.txt file? Do you have any pages that you don't want the search engines to see and index?
The second, I was trying to look at your robot.txt file, but I couldn't find it. Where did you locate it? Usually it has to be at your root directory, so when I type "http://www.your_domain_name.com/robots.txt", then I should see the content of that file, but I don't. May be the same happen with your sitemap? Make sure you were doing it correctly.
Sorry for the long story, hope it helps.
Have a great day,
Peter
