Traffic and PR are totally different. If you have a preference you want the traffic. PR takes hardwork and determination to build. It may also have an effect on where you are placed in search engines. Basically you want both.

i think traffic has nothing to do with Page ranking... as i know... i your site have high page ranking then it has many inbound links or backlinks from the other sites.... then traffic are the unique visitors to your site
