Google Search comes to this top position from 2003 onwards I don't think anybody replace. Because of it’s latest technology, faster & safer.

Facebook might decide to expand and to offer a number of services integrated in its online platform. It has already launched an e-mail service. However Facebook is a closed community, a membership based website and it will probably stay like this. Google is much more open at least when it comes to its Search Engine business. Unless Facebook launches its own search engine to power the internal searches and would not publicly launch one, I do not see those 2 as competitors.

[nbajerseys]

i don't think they are competitors, they have different majors.

[nisha]

Google is most popular because face Book is a social site and Google is a search engine
