I've tried that already and it indexed my site in just 1 day.. Submitting it to famous social bookmarking sites (like digg, del.icio.us, propeller, SU, technorati, etc) can also fasten up page indexing.

What if you don't have any other site and you have the first ever website? The most quickest way is submitting sitemap in G. I think if you are lucky enough then your website will be indexed in G in minutes or hours.
