You can check your backlinks in google by typing

www.yourdomainname.com

yup! i use that if my targeted page is without www.... page with www is a different page from without www...

of caurse the results are different with and without "www". But if you go to Google webmaster tools you could change your preferred domain there.

I have noticed that there is changes of backlinks. I have been using the link:
www.domain.com command and submitexpress and give different result but a closer result.
