confusion with link popularity in google

Hi i need some help,
About 6 months ago i submitted my site to some high PR paid sites, aviva directory, site-sift,joeant and others i also submitted my site to other free high PR sites, google indexed these and counted them as a link to my site,
yesterday whilst checking on marketleap.com i found that now all of those high PR links are not being counted on my site by google anymore yet when checking the directories my link is still on their sites,
Can anyone explain why my link on there site is no longer valid in googles link popularity?

have you checked if they've put a nofollow attribute on your links?

yes i have checked there are no links with no follow attributes to them, as i said before they were showing in google but they are not showing now.

Probably those links are counted but marketleap just makes a query on Google to check the backlinks that Google is showing for your site. The thing is that Google doesn´t show but a small portion of all the backlinks. So, if you want to have the whole picture, you´ll best sign up to the google webmaster tools and you´ll be able to see all backlinks that Google has for your site.

Ah yes webmaster tools i didn't think about that, i will try it now,
question though webmaster tools will show all of the links to my site, and not just the ones that are relevant to google as in if you search link:
www.costa-blancarentals.com
you will only see 26 links if i did a check with webmaster tools i would probably see around a 1000 or more links to my site.

where can you see that? i've checked my site manually and on webmaster tools and they're the same...

I have checked for Yahoo links it is showing 1959 links to your site!
