what is adword? and what is use in seo ?

Adwords is Google's Pay Per Click advertising program. Look on any Google search results page and the sites listed on the right side that say "sponsored listings" are Adwords ads. People pay a certain amount every time someone clicks on those adds...people who pay more are mainly near the top.

As far as I know, it has little to do with SEO....

That is correct information, many times sponsored links appears on the top of result page in specific search as a example if you search “web hosting” in Google.com then first 2-3 results are sponsored part of Google adwords.

Adwords comes under Search Engine Marketting.
SEM comes under SEO.

It is always better to start ur SEO Project with Adword Campaign.

This will give u more relevant info that which particular keyword is working good and which is not.

So far I know SEO and adword has a relation in the way of increasing business. SEO increases traffic, when traffic increases Probability of getting click also increases.
