Misspelled keywords, are they allowed in google?

On conducting some Google keyword research for our shower page I have found the one of our targeted keyword Mira Showers is sometimes miss spelt as Myra Showers
Does Google disapprove of web sites using misspelled keywords?

Nope there is no problem to use misspell keywords in fact you can have good results in Yahoo if target as keywords this is one of the optimization trick.

sometimes google corrected words are mistyped correctly.. but as the above poster's said,, its usually used for tricks to get possible visitors..

In case your website keywords are difficult to spell, you can list various misspelled keywords. People often misspell a search word which is difficult to spell. If the misspelled word matches with your misspelled word then your website can appear in the listing.

Yes it can also help because people often misspelled in writing a keyword.It can also make uniquness.

Misspelled words can also be accepted by google.
