PR Question

My site has been live for a few months now and google still hasn't given it any PR.
Can someone tell me why this is?

Maybe because there's still no PR update by Google...BTW how many months is it?

Well it's only been 2 or 3 months. I guess I'll just have to wait for the update.

Bacause PR update still not showing up.. And PR updates runs slowly only this time.. just wait for it.. Everybody's waiting for it.. now, all you have to do is to concentrate on your rankings in SERP..

as far as i remember,, the last PR update was last may 2007, after the update on march 2007.. I've heard that Google's PR update will slow unlike before that after 3 months,, you'll see your PR result..

So what's the best way to get ranked for particular keywords?
My site is ranked # 4 out of 60 million on google for the keyword
Free Game Domain.
How do I get higher ranking for keywords like. Free online games, Free flash games, free arcade games, etc? I noticed these keywords get searched more often then Free Game Domain.
I'm assuming I need to have these keywords in my anchor text?

Have those keywords as your anchor text when doing an article about your site, and or having it as your signatures in forums..

You have to check the searches per month of your keyword and also your competitor. Since some of your keyword is at the top of Google search engine try to target target more competitive keywords to increase your traffic.

Google update usually happens every 3 months or so, but this one seem more like 5 and still no update yet!!

Wait for google updation.If after updation your site will not get any PR then you have to do link building.

don't wait for PR update,, if you think that your doing great,, optimizing your site well and didn't use any bad tricks,, for sure you'll get that in some time...

agreed with ben_tambling though pr does not mean you will have good search engine result page but still it is something like a milestone you need to achieve.

PR update happens all the time. The only thing that is on hold is the PR to be transferred to the green bar. So don't expect any change in your rankings when the green bar is updated.

wait for PR update, if site have some backlinks then google definitly assign some PR................

As of now, there hasn't yet PR update on Google... Perhaps,it'll be on the last week of this month.
