Google Sitemap - Google included extra features in Webmasters Sitemap information showing number of indexed an total number of pages of website looking good and cool.

actually,, even if you don't have sitemap,, your google will be crawled by SEs...

Yes, it's a new tool effect added and also as mentioned, even a sitemap, search engines are able to visit and crawl pages.

yes man google has done a very nice job
they have improvd the site functionality and now we get a lot of tools which gives us better idea about our performance
