keywords in url for google not so important?

Ive read somewhere, maybe here that keywords in the ur*l are not so important for google ranking but are for yahoo?
Is this true?
IM so new to this! Id love to know in a few words ( if anyone one would be so kind) whats the most important thing to have sorted for good SEO? keyword density? inbound links?

There are too many other factors needed for google result. But according to me there is some importance for this.

Google main factor is PR and good contents.but keyword must be need.

i think keywords in the address aren't completely necessary but they do help a lot. Google does give you and advantage if your keyword is in your address, and also it could help your visitors find you more easily, and also know what your site is about.

I think keyword in UR*L is important. I've read somewhere that the UR*Ls are one of the first things google or any other engine would check while looking for relevant pages for a certain keyword searched. Not sure though.
But it won't hurt to add a keyword in the UR*L, would it?
