It gets you better paying ads
That's about it, really.
It is a measure of how many sites link to you, and more popular the better, so supposedly that makes advertisers think you will get them better hits.

Links from pages with higher pagerank have more importance in googl’s view. That’s the only difference in my view.

The PR factor is a character of the Google search engine.It is because of this PR factor that Google is rated over the other major SE'S.The PR factor determines the importance of a particular web-page in Google's database.The higher the PR means more quality inbound links.

Yes, we all want better PR but the focus should always be keyword targeting and results. PR is soooo cool though and i want some more!

Good PR means good backlinks. But getting on the top SERPs should be your top priority. There are sites that ranks good on SERPs which has low PR..

Anyway, having a good PR is only one factor of success for a website.. Actually, there has a lot of factors and IMO, these are those: good SERP rankings, good traffic with good conversion and can generate profits..

PR is not important. Rankings in the search result pages is. I have seen high PR sites get trumped by PR2s and PR3s.
PR has no use at all.

It have a weight but more important of a website is KW position in search Engine

Most internet users don't really know or see a site's page rank. Since google give it as the rate of importance of the site, most webmasters use it as one of major factor in advertising and quality back links. As of now, not all webmasters don't trust on that green bar.
