Google bombing – A new phrase for me.

Google Bombing is when you use the same anchor text in all of your links. Say you have 400 links pointing to your home page and every one of them had the same anchor text. Google penalized sites for abuse of this practice.

Then, I think they realized that they punished some sites that were playing by the rules, so they reduced the effect of the Google Bomb algo fix.

The key is to vary your anchor text the links back to your site.

I heard it was so easy to rank a keyword on google before using some html tags. But of course google algorithm have to restrict spam sites and too unrelated sites to rank in a certain keywords.

Google Bombing is a new one for me as well. I hope that doesn't become an issue for my site.

Use different-different titles in directory submission and when collecting back links. It is also type of spam.

Google bombing is used to destroy other site rank on SERP they sometimes use other anchor text that not related to the link.
