Yes, this is how I make google list my sites.

I think 15 days now a days is to long to get listed on Google search.

I've tried that already and it indexed my site in just 1 day.. Submitting it to famous social bookmarking sites (like digg, del.icio.us, propeller, SU, technorati, etc) can also fasten up page indexing.

If you could do it continuously so google will cache and index your site frequently, plus adding more high quality content, you will surely gain more than just getting listed...

Google is unpredictable. Most of the new sites got a hard time in indexing their sites @ Google.

I've never had trouble getting a new site indexed by google within a week. I've found that the most important thing, or at least the thing that shows up first, are links from digg (followed closely by reddit). Google's bots must be constantly scouring digg links.

Linking from other popular sites (say, by submitting an article) tends to put your site up on google quicker than linking from your site to a popular site. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have quality outbound links, as well.
