What is the simplest way to check where you rank?

Hello, everyone! This looks like a really cool forum, full of very nice people.
I have a kinda dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer by searching..
What is the easiest way to find out where my page ranks for a given search term? I want to be able to track the changes in rank over time, and tell which page I'm currently on in Google.

It would depend on if you were trying to track several keywords or just a few main ones. You can always search the old fashioned way if it is just a few, or you can use tools to track several keywords on several search engines.

Also Submit Express can run ranking reprts for you for a fee like these:

Hope that helps a little, you can always search for "
keyword ranking report" in your favorite search engine.

Thanks, that's good stuff!!! I felt kinda silly that I had not simply searched for it on google.. Oh well, at least it gave you an oppurtunity to show off!

I like to hear the answers from others too instead of searching sometimes, but I always try to include where I got my info from so people can take from where I left off if they want and go further.
