What are the benefits of gaining a high PR

What actual benefits do you aquire from being a PR3 to a PR6?
as many people say you can have a PR0 and get more traffic than a PR7

You can easily sell your links if you have high PR. Of course, visitor will notice that you're a trusted site because of high PR. PR is not that important on optimizing but it may have some part regarding on issue of reputation, website consistency and traffic.

PR is one factor Google consider in ranking your website.

Google will crawl your site more often. And sites will be more willing to link to you and your site will considered as authority site.

getting a link partner is another way of BL or traffic to your site

The higher your rank the higher your credability is, but dont get in to selling links, google after the last few months has really changed, keep it pure and just try for a higher rank.
