Getting a good page rank in Google is what google update once or twice a year. Even then I can say for getting a better page rank you should do quality link building and keep youself update with new seo trends.

Page ranking must not be the only aim while doing SEO. Even one must try to achieve good traffic and real time customers with the SEO.
