Keyword rankings

Is that necessary that my keywwords can get ranked in MSN and not in goole?
Why is that it get ranked in msn first? So do you think how many months more i need to work to see my keywords in google?

I think you could rank in Google with proper link building and generating more backlinks and links exchanges

Hi
it is better to get ranked in rather google than any other search engine. google has major 80% share of search market.
and it does not work by creating back links, but back links must be on do follow web pages. Back links with No Follow not accpted by google.

it's also important what kind of traffic you need. MSN is known as a good supplier of "housewife" traffic - good for weight loss promotion

That last point is a good one, the different search engines seem to provide different search demographics.

All major search engine is important 80% - 90% of my traffic came to Google search engine,...Any ways Msn is also important you know why?,... its because the default browser of Microsoft is IE and the default search engine is MSN so don't under estimate the other SE 30% of my sale's came from MSN. Don't just focus on traffic sale's is more important the.

I agree that Google obviously has the market share in search engine traffic, but as some of the previous replies mentioned, different search engines will convert differently. For example depending on your product you might find it takes less visitors to get a sale on one search engine than another.

I wonder how your site gets indexed by MSN first and next by Google as this is the other way around that happens normally..
But indexing by Google bots doesn't take much out of you but your site will only be famous if its ranked high by Yahoo first and then MSN..
PS. I know that Google is the market leader in web search

If you are targeting only for MSN search, then go for it. To get better ranking on google is rather difficult compared to MSN.

Every searc engine have different algorithm ...but if you are using msn Friendly content msn will Rank your site , like if your site is all about microsoft, office , or word templates or about any microsoft product your site get good ranking on msn And very quickly too ... But don't Care whats your site all about he care about quality And unique content And after that back links ...So its take some time to get into google SE ranking ...
