My site Vardhaman Gemshttp://vardhamangems.webs.com has more than 550 back links in Yahoo, AOL, all the web etc. However Google is showing 0 link while checking in submitexpress.
Can you please inform me why Google is not showing link to http://vardhamangems.webs.com.
The site is already indexed in Google. Site verified and site map submitted.

Google won't show every backlinks as what Yahoo did. Google will only consider links that they treat as "quality".

Hi,

Yahoo shows more than enough links as compare to Google. And, Google goes with relevancy so it will show links which seem relevant to your site.

There's nothing wrong with google even with your, all you need is to build high quality backlinks.

Google show only high guality link back, for that Google show 0 link back of your website.

The reason why you don't see it is that, Google doesn't update their backlinks often compare to other search engines.

I have many quality links. Most of them are with sites having page rank above 5. Some links are directly with Google. However Google is not showing even a single link.

I have submitted my site http://vardhamangems.webs.com to Google and it is indexed. My site map is also indexed and verified in Google. Webmaster tool is installed. Google search engine is embedded in the site and Google adsense is also showing.

I have now as wel as 650 quality back links but it is still 0 with Google.

Google just doesn't show the majority of backlinks, if any. That's why Yahoo Site Explorer is so valuable.

The main reason why Google don't show your total backlinks is to protect your resources against your competitors. If you would like to view your total number of backlinks you can see it on your GWT.

Search "http://vardhamangems.webs.com" on Google. You will get 800 some-odd results. That means Google is aware of the links to your site. Don't worry about the official backlink number. You're doing fine.

I think yahoo will show all backlinks while Google give limited backlinks only.

For example, when i try to get some backlink information with the command link: i use to get some bizarre info, such as backlinks produced by my own page.

i can't understand yet how it really works

Thanks for your answer. I am aware of the fact, however the question remains at its place. Why Google is not showing links of http://vardhamangems.webs.com it recognizes? If its objective is to keep it private, why is it not showing in webmaster tools?

make sure you have verified that you are the owner of the site in google's webmaster tools and the backlinks will show up. sometimes google is slow about updating the links in webmaster tools but it should show up in a month or two. the fact that you have many pages in the google search engine is proof enough that google is aware of your site and its link juice. just be patient.
