hi all,

for link building, whether google treats www.thekeralatemples.com and http://thekeralatemples.com different???

Since i am getting different count for both.

yes, riderbabygurl is right. They will be treated as different pages. Its better suggestion for using 301 redirection.

but, there are chances that the "http://thekeralatemples.com" url can be a broken link sometimes

yah, best solution to that is 301.

Or you can set it in your google webmaster tool. I think there is a part there where you can set it.

This will be treated differently. Yes you are correct 301 redirection is the best way to solve this problem. This is also the best way to preserve on whatever link juice your site do have.

I use to have the same issue with my website domain Then I choose the one with www as preferred name and set it up through Google webmaster tool If you don't know how to do that you could always ask at this forum

I agree this resolves the issue, google helping with the issue here!

google dosen't display all of the links the the Link command. Its just a few compared to what you actually have.

if you want to see all your links including no follow, use yahoo explorer.

Yes, google will read these two urls differently. Better use a redirect.

Sure Google trating all URl are diff even.. http without http treating as dif URL

write in .htaccess file
