not sure that everyone has the same problems... a lot depends on the topics. some of our sites have very high eCPMs (with varying amounts of traffic). ad types and placements also have a big impact

may be not good adds.. and visiters not interest to click on it... or the advertisers paying less for th eclicks

i think there are some concerns on how you get traffic or what you do to have traffic.... i think there's also in the placement of the ads is another factor:D

Select the related keywords for your site and let your target users to visit your site though you are using Google adsense.

I don't know how Google do it but I think increasing impressions will increase your income to.

Does they justify the same or better traffic? Maybe the first quarter of the year is not doing well as people slow down in spending. And then it affects the bid for keywords that makes them lower in prize, then lowers the cost of ads in adsense.
