I have lost my rank!

Hi everyone,
I remember that my site had 15,365 indexed pages in google.com. i don't know what happened to my site that it has 3,470 indexed pages now. do you know why?

it happened for me when i stopped updating my site
maybe there can be other reasons like disappearing backlinks

No friend i have backlinks yet and i never stopped updating too. my story is very unfamiliarity
but i remember my site was down around 2 weeks!

Don't get too concerned if your BLs have decreased. It's a common thing. If your google ranking is still good, then you're fine.

I don't know. actually i have been pr3 since last year! but i need to more visitors.

Is it much better to have lots of different sites indexed? I need to know cuz my .ca domain has about 150 and my .dom domain has about 20 and I have been optimizing the latter. Maybe I should switch!

Find good and quality backlinks. Look for websites relevant to what your site offers and those which has few links on a page.
Other ways to get good backlinks.
Participate in Forums
Blogging
Submit Press Releases
Write Articles
Free Submission Directories

just keep updating your site with fresh content and make sure your site is up and running for when it get crawled.

Maybe you have a lot of pages with the same title, description...Check webmasters tools for errors

Yeah i think it's must be true! cause i have so much good backlinks and i submitted my site to great social bookmarks and i have more than 10,000 posts and etc.
i checked the errors but i have the problem yet. i know what to do

Don't worry about this .The number will bounce back again.Just try to add as much new conent as you can.
