BackLinks for a WebSite

I am trying to find the back links for a WebSite by using the google command link:
www.mysite.com
The results are displayed in SERPS and some of the pages displayed doesn't contain any back link to my site.
What can be the problem ?

I am searching in WebSite Page Source and there is no back link.

have you try to do it on other SE?
because, in different SE in the net the show different results when you check you backlinks.....

Usually using that command won't show your whole backlinks from Google. In order for you to check out your total backlinks just sign up on Google Webmaster Account and you can see their the total number of your backlinks.

Generally, google does not list links from pages that are under about PR4, although it does use them for ranking.

I thing afer index the link may be removed.. Bl updation is not current.. may 1 month old....

Google never shows all of the backlinks that you have and the ones it does show are the backlinks the last time it updated after crawling that page. Cheers!

After crawling that page you link is removed that's why it is not showing now but it is visible for google at that time.

oh well, I guess your talking about the backlinks in google. I am sure google doesn't show up instantly all the backlinks on your site with that command.

maybe some of your links are not considered so SE wont crawl your links
try to submit it again

Maybe some sites link to you have changed it. You need to wait for the next backlinks update.

The command is absolutely ok but google does not show all backlinks instantly. Something you can do is wait for update.
