1. There might be some error regarding some characters like &, replace & with and.
2. Then upload your XML site map and re-submit in Google Webmasters Tool.
..................get the problems solved in few minutes as Google refresh your site map.

Are you really sure that you submitted the correct sitemap? Double check everything first.

Try to create your sitemap again in XML format as per the google guideline, I hope through this google will accept your sitemap again.

i think you are talking about sitemap fo your blog, there is a issue with atom and rss feeds, you try to submit sitemap with orderbyupdate method.
