- Add your site to some directories.

Just submit your site in relevant directories. This will help you in getting backlinks. Also when you submit your site in directories, search eangines will find you & list you.

Directories are great but links from highly related sites deliver better targeted traffic so you need to find these sites and add them in your linking plan too.

But definitely take action and get those links.

Did it help? Since I've got a stron feeling that google should index a site anyway, even if not in the directories, but maybe this belief renders me a non-expert here....
