I am looking for some opnions on what we can do to make our site rank better?

I am also looking into buying links on other sites with an equal pagerank or better. Has any one ever tried this? Good Idea, bad?

By the way our site has a page rank of 5 if that matters at all.

To get high rank use proper keywords & update your content regularly.

Your idea of buying links is good, but just check future page rank before buying any link.

The content posted above is Good. Keyword searching and content really helpful to you but keyword is not exceed than 7-8 words and content should be unique. blog commenting and social book marking sites also helpful for you.

There are good and easy ways to get your site ranked and traffic, you just have to learn to do them the right way. Also about buying link, beware of Google's rule or your site might enter to the so called manipulation and probably get some penalty..

PR is one of ranking factor. PR5 is considered high to me.

Your site is PR4. It's seems good enough to me.

Page rank is one of the best ranking factor..

Page Rank means nothing in relation to ranking for specific keywords...I had a Page Rank 0 forever, and was ranked number 1 for my top keyword in Google for 3 years.

In Google's algorithm, Page Rank is a very small factor in search engine ranking.

Hey,

I would not suggest to buy links. There are many SEO tactics to get quality one way backlinks. Just refer various threads of this forum and you will get lots of ideas.

The first thing you need to do is learn how SEO works. Then, do a keyword analysis followed by off page factors and focusing in building quality links with your targeted keyword.

Off apge and on page optimization both are important for better ranking.
