Can someone someone please explain why i have backlinks for every search enginge apart from google and msn.i am confuzed

There is nothing to worry at all.
Google does not tell you much about backlinks. The link: operator is next to useless. it is just a sampling of links. google will not show the entire backlink list.
to see more links or at least a better "sampling" - use the Yahoo Explorer!
it covers almost all links (even non relevant)

Google sucks at showing backlinks. Always use yahoo.

in my experience google tends to show less backlinks than a lot of other search engines!

Yea, just use Yahoo Site Explorer to check backlinks. Also, you could try and sign up for Google webmaster tools. It shows a decent amount of backlinks as well.

I also had the same issue with checking backlinks on Google. It showed me there are only 16 backlinks while I knew there had to be over three hundred. So I started to use

you can check google backlinks in google webmaster tools.

Yahoo's site explorer over estimates your backlinks as well as it counts multiple links from 1 domain, if you go to yahoo and type linkdomain:
www.yoursite.com you'll get a better idea.

by the way, this still takes you to site explorer, it just cuts out the crap

Back link increases your page rank,thats why you have that.

google is not gua t it... use yahooo . it will tell u the exact # of backlinks u have

Do you know the real reason why Google not Showing all backlinks?
Answer: They did used to show all links, but back in about 2004/05 they stopped doing this because it was too transparent to webmasters vying for the same rankings.
I hope it might help....

I always find the command:
linkdomain yourdomain.com -site yourdomain.com
always comes in handy as well

Sites that have been uploaded in the internet are crawlable by bots of all search engines. But they are read by SEs differently because they have varying algorithms. There's nothing unusual about having backlinks in Google, MSN and other SEs.
