Meta tags are important after new update ?

Hey. I am curious after new google update as usual. I am not using meta tags for my sites as i have posted on pages at wordpress. And in wordpress, you can not use meta tags if you are using pages to post. here are my sites, can any one check and guide me as these are necessary tasks any more or not.
