Page rank means the measurement of a web page's importance. Your page rank reflects the importance of your website. Your page rank will be high whenever google will think that your website is important . To increase page rank you need more backlinks that are really effective. your PageRank number shows how much google gave importance to your website. PageRank is an essential factor because, when someone will search your website related site, they will obviously choose the high PR site.

PageRank is important but not everything in SEO. It gives an idea of the thinking of Google about your website. But, it should be remembered that if the websites linking to you have a Page Rank of 0, their link will not help to boost your PageRank.

If our website getting backlinks from the websites that have a Page Rank of 0 then their link will not help to increase our Page Rank. We must try to get backlinks from High PR websites.

Yes!! I have also mentioned that. High ranking on google will be possible only when we will get backlinks from high PR websites.

For your update, PageRank still plays a vital role in Google’s ranking algorithm. It’s just that Google’s Toolbar PageRank no longer exists.

PR is not useful now, Now Focus in DA PA of your Website.

PageRank is important to driving indexing, but for rankings it is nowhere near as important as it once was in terms of delivering top rankings. SEO has become a much more refined art.
