Google Quietly drops pagerank from webmaster tools - GOOD!

A quote from the article GOOGLE: "it was removed because Google keeps telling webmasters “that they shouldn’t focus on PageRank so much.” They felt it was “silly” to keep telling webmasters that, and at the same time show it in Webmaster Tools."
What's the next step. removing page rank from the toolbar? I hope so..

Maybe without the page rank, all webmaster and SEO work will definitely be useless...

I don't think that this movement is good. a Webmaster must always keep tracking about the stats about his blog/website.
If pagerank visibility is removed from the toolbar, It's gonna change the whole Pagerank algorythm

PR is important... Inbound links is essential.

For me, I'm not aftering of PR. I'm concern on my keywords that ranks in first every search engine. Of course, traffic is the most wanted for me.

Good move from Google, people get far to caught up with pagerank when they should be focusing more on their actual rankings. Good page rank does not mean good rankings.

PR is one of things that contribute to SERP. It's still important, but we should also look into other things that contribute to SERP.
