Can I expect my google PR increase?

Hi friends my blog gain almost 6500 backlink, now my blog PR is one. I am listening that google PR will update on last of October. So can I expect for increase my blog PR? another question is that how google award blog with PR?

If you have 6500 backlinks from a crappy website it won't do anything for you at all.

Just keep on building quality link. The more link you create is the more chance to gain your quality link.

Quickest way to get a PR increase is to get sites with a better PR than your own linking to you.
At the end of the day though is PR that important to you? Good PR doesn't = good rankings....

Keep on building quality links and blogs/forums commenting. The more link you create is the more chance to gain your quality links.

Make sure you optimize the on-page factors of your blog very well, and choose do-follow sites in your submissions to pass link juice to your blog. It is not impossible for a blog to have high PR, even for blogspot and wordpress-hosted blogs.
