There is no need to submit your site in search engines, just submit your site in directories. Directory submission helps in getting more backlinks. When your backlinks are more search engines will automatically find & list your site. So just concentrate on directory submission.

I agree with etech-racheal with the directory submissions, but it doesnt hurt to submit your site to a few search engines. Submit Express actually does it for you for free. Just do that once then work on your directory submissions and you will be on your way. Do not submit more than once to search engines because they might consider it spam after a while and then you might be banned. Good luck!

Get quality backlinks by submitting to directories and social bookmarking sites. That will get your sites indexed fast.

By simply handling your websites in an SEO purposes Then you will be listed in SE's.

Your site will get listed in SE's if you did proper SEO on this.

Oh, so you don't know how backlink building can help in SERP rankings? Backlink quality and quantity is one of the main factors that Google takes into consideration when ranking sites for a certain keyword, and Social Bookmarking is one of the effective means of getting backlinks.
