The parameters used by google in updating PR is almost a secret.Though we may assume that linking to high PR blogs/forums would give us high PR, some aspects remain secrets to us.Just continue building high quality links and you'll hit big time soon too.

It's actually not totally a secret. On of the founders of Google (Larry Page) wrote a paper on PageRank a long while back which was the orginal text on what now is Google PageRank. He wrote some formulas on how it works ect... in the paper too. You can see some of those details and a SEO tool made from what was written in the paper here: http://www.seosean[DOT]com/seo-tools/pagerank-calculator/

The fact that Google removed PR on their webmaster tools, is a reminder that we shouldn't focus much on PR...

Well, it takes time for the search engines to index your website. In the meantime, you can keep working on creating some back links.

You should have a criteria in posting your links. Like posting it on PR2 and above sites only etc.

Well there is nothing secret in the internet sphere, Google has defined its way of ranking the websites, but if they increase/decrease the PR of any site, they don't mention the reason. But parameters have been defined by Google for deciding the PR of any site. Thanks

For me it is not a secret. Google can increase our page rank by building links on high PR do follow websites and blogs. There is no tool that will determine which links are high PR and do follow just trust Google and don't do things that can make Google angry.
