Submitting to Google is a waste of time, you need to build links like vistadivine said and your site will be picked up easily. As for getting it up to the top, thats another story. There are many factors that you have to deal with to get on top, like relevancy, content, and links. There are some others but you get the picture.

First you need to increase your on-site optimisation. Choose the words you want to rank for, prioritise them and optimise different content pages within your site considering that prioritation. Then, as mentioned above, get good quality links, if possible targeting specific pages, and trying to get the targeted keywords within the link text.

Good content is a king. Your site must have a good content .
Update your site more often - Google likes this thing. And of course, site optimization!!!

you just have to concentrate on your content grab the quality content on your site it will high on less SEO
