I noticed that the Adwords sponsored links on google cannot be clicked on. Why is this? Why bid if people can't click on your link is what I"m wondering.

You are probably not clicking on the Title, which is where the link is. The URL itself is not clickable.

it looks like only the sponsored links at the top of the page work but the sponsored links off to the right hand corner cannot be clicked on. Maybe its just on my end but I doubt it.

The sponsored links at the top of the page and on the right hand side both work fine for me and are clickable.

this is a trick people dnt wnt their links to be hit so u have to copy and paste for free

I understood his meaning.He means that google only bills you for the clicks.If people are not being able to click it they will copy & paste it.Thus u will be not billed & you get free promotion.

But frankly speaking I have not come across any such links & it is not possible

May be ur browser is faulty or u r unknowingly using some script
