I don't thik so you don't need to wait 7 days to index in Google. There is a method to index within 24 hours to 48 hours. If you make link a high PR website, you can get index automatically with the google's scwrel...

If you want your site to be indexed by Google faster, create a blog post, particularly in Blogger, and insert a link to the page that you would want to be indexed before you press the "Publish" button. Blogger blogs are indexed very fast by Google, about 5 minutes after publishing the post.

If you have link to your page, easily your pages will be index quickly. And you can also use the webmaster tools from Google.

Just get links from frequently crawled web pages. Doesn't matter if the links are no follow, they still get crawed

Well, it depends on the cache of the site on which you submit your link, it doesnt need to be high PR page. Just you need is that the page must be cached by on regular basis. Then your link will be added soon.

And after having unique contents on your site, make sure that at least one other page from your site can be accessible from each page.
