Any one tried the banner advertising on google?

I have given it a quick try and it seemed a lot more expensive that PPC

anyone had the same experience?

Never tried it, but the Pay Per Click ads are expensive enough....

Yeah I've tried them, it didn't work too good for us, but I blame the fact that the banners appear in small partners, same way as the Google Adsense, that never worked good for us either.
