Sometimes when I search keywords including common words like in, of..., google will say "... is a very common word and was not included in your search".

But the fact is that the results of "restaurant in sydney" and "restaurant sydney" are totally different. Does Google really overlook those common words? If yes, why above results are different?

I've noticed exactly the same thing, when a word like 'in' was added my website was found, but without it I was nowhere to be found.

Another thing I've noticed from looking at my log files is that my site has been found when certain text is enclosed in quotes, but not found without them. Who would think it would make a difference?

Those words are omitted as they have little value in finding results.
