Why does my site has few backlinks in google. How can I increase my backlinks in google?

Exchanges links, directories, bookmark sites, articles etc

Please remember though, google only shows about 5% of the links it actually knows about, so if you have a high number in the other engines, then google knows about those too. But yes, directories will get you there!

Put simply... Google is sneaky. They don't show all their cards.

Yep google show's the least out of all of them, if you can get to 100 Google backlinks that is very good and it will usally yield a PR5 and good serp's.
