Got google ranking in 2 months

Post by RobAde »

In just over 2 months, I have achieved my objective and managed to get my keywords on the 1st page on Google!! Some of my keywords are now #1!!!!! Now all I need to do is try and get the rest of the keywords #1...

Some points I like to make on how I have achieved these results so far.

1) Research competition to see the keywords they have used
2) Make every page a unique title
3) Include a keywords and description meta tags
4) Created a Yahoo Overture account and Google advertising account, I originally added every keyword I could think off, once the ads had been running for a while I then looked at the statistics for the ads and worked out the top 5 keywords people were using to find us.
5) Replaced all keywords in meta tags and body of website to include the keywords from Step 4
6) Create a sitemap and added it to www.google.com/sitemaps
7) Submitted website to a 4-5 web directories of a PR 4/5/6
8) Created a couple of articles and uploaded them to article website
9) Manual submission of website to directories and search engines
10) Created a sitemap and 404 html file for website
11) Created inbound links on my site ie when IT support was mentioned in the body of the text I would link this text to the IT support page.
12) Renamed html files to include keywords ie support.html, consulting.html etc
13) When I finished all the above I repeated again and again.....

Also my website is NOT in DMOZ even though I wanted it to be.

I hope this helps.

Good Work done

you have won half the battle as the start is the good one. Now,onwards
just look up for few things:

1.Important aspect of gaining website traffic is the actual content that is on the website. If possible, it is vital that you try to purchase website space that does not contain many annoying banners and other forms of advertisement. This has proved to frustrate potential visitors and could cause you to lose their business. Customers enjoy visiting a website and experiencing new and edgy material that they cannot find in other locations. The more helpful that you seem to potential customers and the more you offer to the potential customer, the better. These types of details will allow your customers to gain confidence in you and the market that you represent.

2.Developing an E-Zine for the products that you represent can help to emit traffic to your website. This online publication can help to communicate any special news and details of your merchandise to your subscribers. Additionally, you may include information that someone may pass on to someone else. This can be a great source of website traffic.

3.One last step that can help you to increase website traffic is to remember to keep your website on edge. Update the website frequently and try to keep it as fresh as possible. People tend to get bored looking at the same things over and over again and this could lead to the loss of revenue and customers. Remember to stay on top of your game and others will play along.

Happy SEM!!

Great job, keep up the good work. Remember, that you have the rankings you need to keep it and that means keep building more links to your site and you should be able to hold down the spot.
