I created one forum in one free server and purchased a short domain name. Then i made simple url redirection from my short domain url to the original forum url.

My doubt here is when i create inwards links to my site should i create it with
the original long url itself (to get more advantage) . Or can i use my short domain name itselt?
Here is my site : www.mallumovies.org
and the original location is www.mallumovies.s4.bizhat.com

pls reply

If you use a 301 redirect then the credit gets passed on to your long domain. So do that. Make sure to use a 301 redirect and then point links to short domain. Then one day when you have an actual website with paid hosting, you get to keep your links.

It merely takes couple of weeks for google to index your site. If currently your site is not indexed then there is no problem.

Better if you decide to use the domain you paid for permanently, it might be helpful at the moment that redirection but in the long run if you continue it, it may flagged as manipulation. Better if you create more contents on your new domain and just put links going the forum.
